How To Train Your Dragon.

How To Train Your Dragon from my perspective was an excellent movie. From the animation to the story-line to the music, it was really-really excellent. There was almost zero pop culture references ! The same cannot be said for Shrek though. Shrek was a throwaway franchise of spoof and pop-culture references.

The story of How To Train Your Dragon takes place in a mythical Viking world where a young Viking teenager named "Hiccup" aspires to follow his tribe's tradition of becoming a dragon slayer. After finally capturing his first dragon [Toothless], and with his chance at finally gaining the tribe's acceptance, he finds that he no longer has the desire to kill it and instead befriends it. The movie was basically not based on only one genre. There was comedy, action, adventure and even romance !

The ending of How To Train Your Dragon was quite sad but at the same time happy. But it was an excellent-excellent-excellent movie overall ! I'll never regret paying RM 11 on a bright Monday morning to watch it with my besties ;)

One Malaysia ?

I really-really-really liked or maybe loved the character Toothless [The Night Fury] in How To Train Your Dragon. It was real cute !

One thing I can guarantee you here is, the movie was way-way better than Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Way better. Fullstop.
